The Love of an Angel and Devil

I am an angel and you are a devil

So how did we ever stooped to this level

The kings of ours hate each other

But I couldn’t leave you for another

You kidnap me to become your bride

And looked at me with greater pride

Times I spent with you have been the worst or the best

But your love for me will never rest

We heard screams of battle and screams of pain

Ringing in our ears like the sound of rain

We fought each other in the Judgment War

But our hearts ache for each other more and more

My people had won so in Heaven I'll remain

But the saddest part is that I'll never see you again

You lost your wings and became a mortal 

And it was my fault that you were no longer immortal

I thought hard and knew what to do

I asked God to cut off my wings so I can be with you

He granted my wish and he looked really pleased

That He grabbed my wings and gave them a squeeze

My wings were gone and I gave God a hug

And told me to be with my demonic bug

He dropped to Earth and I ran to your arms
Not wanting to escape your dark, evil charms
So many lives have been lost and bodies turned to ice
That you and I paid the ultimate price
But our love it was stronger by far than love
Of the angels that sang from the Heavens above
Our hearts became one before this unholy fight
As we looked up to see the starry night
We held each other not wanting to be apart
And heard the sounds of our beating hearts
We looked at each other for it was meant to be 
That I belonged to you and you belonged to me
This story of ours will forever be told
With eyes of blood and eyes of gold
